Bishop Tyrone Vincent Escoffery

Bishop Tyrone Vincent Escoffery was the Founder and Senior Pastor of Brampton Evangelistic Ministry formally known as Brampton Bible Church of God established in 1992. Bishop Escoffery was born in Franklin Town Kingston, Jamaica and was 5th of 9 children on the Brown side and 6th of 11 children on the Escoffery side.

After having a personal encounter with the Lord, Bishop Escoffery started his Christian walk at the tender age of Twenty-One. Dedicating himself to the call of the Lord, he accepted his first of many roles as the youth life team director and Band leader at the West-End Church of God of Prophecy. He later was appointed the role of Youth Director and also obtained his Lay Minister license at the North Park Church of God of Prophecy and was a force to be reckoned with."

Bishop Escoffery was a powerful man of God who was known for his unique foot movements while he preached. Some of the words that best describe him are jovial, kind-hearted, humorous, passionate, and his level of servitude was irreplicable.

On Monday, October 11th, 2021, at the age of 68, Bishop Tyrone Escoffery transitioned to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his beautiful wife Janet, his children and family. He is mourned by his church family and many others across the world. His spiritual discernment will be deeply missed.

Bishop Tyrone Escoffery is survived by his wife, Pastor Janet Escoffery, his eight children, daughter-in-law’s, son-in-law, his grandchildren, great-grandchild, his brothers, and sisters.

For those who are attending the funeral service, we kindly ask to refrain from wearing black, and please wear bright colours

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.- Psalm 23 Bishop Escoffery’s testimony scripture.
