My sincerest condolences to the Robinson family. Whenever I saw him at church he ALWAYS had a smile and ALWAYS asked if I knew that Gordon was his son! Such a warm personality he was.
May his memories forever live on the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace sir.

The thought that it is so real that he is no longer here, brings a lot of memories and emotions coming down through the years.
I saw how long and hard he fought inspite of the battle he was in. He left with no time to say goodbye, my heart hurts that he is gone but I know he could not stay.
I thank God I was there doing my best to serve him. I miss him but he is in a better place. I say so long uncle John, sleep on and take your rest.
Good night! Good night! Good night!

Uncle John is no more in pain. He is gone but not forgotten. He is in a better place. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, church family, neighbours and well-wishers. The good news is God will never abandon us in the time of our grief, He will always provide us with love and hope. As we mourn He promise to comfort us as recorded in Matthew 5:4. Good night uncle John, in the sweet by and by we will meet on the beautiful shore. Sleep on and take your rest.

Words have failed me as I sit here and try to grapple with the fact that you are no longer here on this earth with us. Losing a loved one to the grave is one of the hardest things anyone can ever go through and losing a parent that has raised and loved you is a grief like no other. One song summarizes how I'm feeling...
"Who would've known that you had to go, so suddenly, so fast. How could it be that a sweet memory would be all that we have left. Now that you're gone, everyday I go on (and let me tell you, t's so hard to go on), but life's just not the same. I'm so empty inside and my tears I can't hide..."
I know this is not the end and I will see you someday and we will be able to have a family reunion. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life...things present, things to come...shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
For now dad, I miss you immensely!
I love you dad, but Jesus loved you best. Take your rest. Rest in love daddy. You have fought a good fight. Love you forever.
Terri

Mr Robinson was an angel when I needed him. And now he is gods angel. As a young single mother I had my struggles with getting my children to school. He saw me struggling and offered his help to get them everyday home from school even though it was the opposite way to his home and for that I will always be great full. This world has now lost a wonderful caring loving man. RIP Mr Robinson

Mr. Robinson will never be forgotten. I will miss him all my days. His humor, his love for his family, his generousity and the way he always makes me feel welcome and an extended part of the family.("What you want Sylvie? I will have it for you when you come.") Bredda Rob, have a safe journey home to the welcoming arms of our Lord where you will keep a loving watch over all of us.
