Obituary of Shirley Mae Crookes
In Loving Memory of Shirley Crookes
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirley, who departed from this world on April 24th, 2024. She was a beacon of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of
all who knew her.
Shirley dedicated her life to serving others, embodying the teachings of Jesus Christ in every aspect of her being. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she always placed their needs above hers without hesitation. She was a nurturing mother and grandmother, a cherished
sister, and a faithful friend to many.
As a devout Christian, she lived by the principle of "What Would Jesus Do?" Her actions spoke volumes, exemplifying forgiveness, humility, and unconditional love. Her unwavering faith was a source of strength and comfort to those around her, inspiring others to live with grace and integrity.
Shirley leaves a profound void in the lives of her loved ones, including her daughter, son, and adoring grandson. She also leaves behind her brothers, sisters, and many relatives and friends touched by her warmth and generosity.
Though she may have left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she created. Her legacy of love will serve as a guiding light, reminding us to live with kindness, compassion, and faith, just as she did.
As we mourn her passing, let us take solace in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father. May her gentle soul rest in everlasting peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
