Obituary of Dale Des Lauriers

On Wednesday July 10th at 11:00 am, Dale Des Lauriers, aged 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and close family members. Dale was a beloved mother, wife, nonny, aunt, cousin and friend, who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Fiercely strong-minded but with a heart of gold, Dale was the last surviving of her siblings. Predeceased by Cecilia, Barbara, Jimmy, Frankie, and Martha. Dale is survived by her two daughters Darlene and Debbie as well as her four grandchildren Ashif, Alykhan, Alisha and Ahmad. She was thrilled to be a great grandmother to her two great grandsons Easton and Brooks. She loved to cook Italian food for her family and friends as that was her way of showing her love to them. Well known for her “famous meatballs”, she would count them as they went into her sauce and everyone used to fight over them. The family would like to thank the staff at Age Care Glen Oaks long term care for their support and the kindness they showed our family and our mom especially in the last days of her life. As well as the lovely Honour Tribute to her as she left the building. The family also wishes to express gratitude for all of the condolences offered. We would also like to thank the staff at New Haven Funeral Centre for their excellent customer service and for making this painful process as seamless as possible. Everyone has wonderful stories and memories of our mom so we encourage everyone to share them. Dale is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. We pray that her soul rests in eternal peace. Love you forever mom!!
