The children and I are presenting to you our sincere condolences. May you find in the Lord the comfort, the consolation and the healing of the wound created by the unexpected departure of our brother papa Alphonse Yombo. Regardless of how you may feel today, know that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you, He will never leave you, never forsake you. It might take time to heal and recover from papa Yombo' s departure. Some days you might feel as if you've been betrayed or abandoned by God and your loved one who passed away, know that it is not true. You might even ask why he's gone at a time he was mostly needed and you might not have the answers to all your questions but one thing is sure, if you invite Jesus in this journey and allow Him to do what He is known the best for, He will surely bring the healing and restoration that the family needs to continue to function and to find your purpose in Him, to live a purpose driven life to accomplish your dreams and everything God has called you to do on this earth. Mama José may you be strong and courageous, gird your loins with faith in the word of God, hope, patience, may the joy of the Lord be your strength, knowing that your children though grown up still need you. Know that you are not alone but you have a family, sisters, brothers who are there to support and who are praying for you.
Your sister in the Lord,
Maman Chantal

I want to offer my heart felt condolences to Yombo's family whom I haven't ever met, but he spoke so highly of at work. I worked with Yombo at the Marriott. He loved his family and God. We spoke of faith quite often. He was a kind person.
