Obituary of Eva May Rattigan

Eva May Rattigan was born in the parish of St Catherine, Jamaica in Polly Ground district, on September 17, 1936. She was born with her twin brother George Rattigan. She was the eldest child of 12 children, born to the late Henry and Beatrice Rattigan. She had 7 brothers and 6 sisters. George, Isiah, Wilborn, Bryan, James, and Lloyd Rattigan. Cecilia, Elizabeth, Lucia, Evelyn, Enid Rattigan. She outlived two of her siblings John, and Silvia Rattigan. Eva May Rattigan was married to Mr. Robert Christie, their marriage produced two children, Harold Christie and, Jillian Christie. Four grandchildren and a great grandchild. Eva lost her husband, son and mother 6yrs ago. Jillian Christie is the only remaining family member currently living in the United states. Due to Covid-19 she is unable to attend for her mother’s funeral. Eva migrated to Canada about 40yrs, ago, she was a generous individual, who consistently ensure her mothers needs were met. Her mother would always say she can put her pot on the fire and know for sure that she will receive money from Eva, to ensure she eats. She lived a quiet life in Canada and spent her later years in Extendicare Rouge Valley Long Term Care, in Scarborough, Ontario, until her passing on Friday, April 17, 2020 May her soul rest in peace.
