Obituary of Peggy James

On Thursday September 10 2020, Monica, affectionately known as Peggy or Mum, passed away in Etobicoke Ontario at Etobicoke General Hospital at the young age of 75. Peggy was born on March 6 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica. In her 20’s she migrated to Canada. She worked as a seamstress and a housekeeper. Peggy was well known for her advisability and the simplest pleasures in life brought her joy. She loved to sew, cook, clean, family and to laugh. Peggy made an impact on many lives with her generosity. She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Austin; children: Angela, Doreen, Michelle, Joan, Denise, Terry, Tasha; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. May she rest with the Lord! Monica passed away with 30 dollars in her purse. She was always into giving. If you'd like to contribute, we'd appreciate everyone to donate at least 30 dollars to the Kidney Disease Foundation. To donate, click on the "Donations" tab and then click "Donate Online".
