Obituary of Gladys Iziengbuwa Emovon

(Affectionately called "IYOWA")

It is with a heavy heart that we the Okuns and Emovon Families announce the passing away of our sister and wife Gladys. She peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at the Toronto General Hospital in Canada, after a brief illness. Gladys was the loving and cherished wife of Pastor Felix Emovon of All Nations Full Gospel Church, Toronto and beloved daughter of late Mr. Frederick O. Okuns and Mrs. Victoria Okuns. She will be greatly missed by her many extended family members, in-laws, friends, colleagues and well wishers.

Gladys was best known for her great love for the Lord and her family. Beginning from Church of God Mission International in the early 1980s until her call to glory, Gladys served the Lord zealously with all her heart, might and soul and fought gallantly, the good fight of faith and finished the race. A crown of righteousness awaits her as she enters the presence of the Lord.

In her lifetime, Gladys touched so many lives in many positive ways and will be greatly missed for her gentle, amiable, soft-spoken and highly dedicated personality. Her friendly smile and legacy of uncommon kindness and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of many.
