Obituary of Harry Alfonso Cornish

Harry went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Brampton surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with dementia.

Harry was born on April 6, 1945 to Mildred and Allan Cornish in Saint Ann, Jamaica where he later met his wife, Medlyn. They married in December 1973 and went on to have 4 children, David, Derrol, Stephanie and Sheryl.

In 1970, he moved to Toronto, Ontario and later pursued a career as a painter. Harry retired from HydroOne in 2011 after over 30 years as a professional painter. While retired, Harry had time to pursue his love of gardening and enjoy more time with his grandchildren.

Harry is survived by his wife, Medlyn Cornish, his four children David (Susan), Derrol, Stephanie (Seyyeed) and Sheryl (Neal), his three grandchildren, Seyyane, Sanae and Sakhai  and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
