Obituary of Chandi Richardson

On Friday January 22nd, 2021, Chandi Kareem Richardson aka Chuka and Chukafish; son, fiancé, nephew, cousin and friend to many passed away suddenly at the age of 38. Chandi was born April 13th, 1982 to mother Violet Richardson and father Mervyn Richardson in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, UVI. He spent time in Anguilla, United States and Canada spreading laughter, love and positivity anywhere he went. As word of his passing spreads, there have been more and more outpourings of love and support by those who knew him and whose lives he has touched. Chandi went above and beyond to ensure that those around him were loved unconditionally and was always there when others needed someone to lean on.

Chandi will forever be remembered by his mother, fiancée, father, grandfather, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Inner City Outreach Toronto at https://innercityoutreach.ca/give/ or https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/inner-city-outreach/, which serves a community that was near and dear to his heart.

May his soul rest in everlasting peace.
