Obituary of Linford Paul Thompson

Linford Paul Thompson, AKA Niel AKA Bamma! Born Sept 6th 1961, died in the early morning of Monday February 8th at Brampton Civic Hospital from ATLL Lymphoma.

He was a husband, father, uncle, friend, mentor, leader and 100% supporter. If you had the honour of knowing him, you know he was Mr. Bright side, an honest, jovial man with high integrity who gave willingly, whether it was sharing resources, mentoring young people or sharing a job opportunity. He believed in helping in the small ways that he could.

His life is celebrated by his wife, Juliet  McKenzie -Thompson, who was his dedicated caregiver to the end, and children Shemar, Rosalind (Mesha), Sheena (Tracy) and Grand Child Leo.

His extended family Rose Howell, Sharon Thompson, Christine Thompson, Joy Johnson and countless levels of nieces and nephews .

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Linford Thompson to The Walnut Foundation. A foundation that works with the Black Community in identifying the needs of Black Men in the areas of health and related issues.
