Obituary of Melita Sandra Jane Williams

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Melita Williams announce her passing on March 29, 2024, at the age of 80years. Born on February 01, 1944, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, she embarked on a lifelong journey of love and partnership with her beloved husband, Reuben Williams who preceded her in death in 2009.

Melita’s greatest joy came from her role as a Mother to her six children Clifford, Debra, Brian, Anthony, Jasmine(preceded in death in 2012) and Leslie. Grandmother and great-grandmother to her grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren; whom she bestowed with endless love and tenderness. She took great pride in nurturing and guiding her grandchildren, taking an active role in their care and wellbeing. Instilling in them her kindness, compassion, and unwavering strength.

Melita leaves behind a profound legacy of love. Her infectious smile illuminated every room she entered, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she was modest and reserved, Melita possessed a fiery spirit that endeared her to all who knew her. She will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and resilience, a guiding light for her family through life's joys and challenges. In her absence, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her boundless love and kindness.
