Obituary of Miriam Eudanipha Walters

In Loving Memory of Miriam E. Walters nee Dawkins, born January 16, 1920.

Miriam E. Walters founder of Bois Content Basic School and retired teacher of Bois Content Primary School (formerly Ludford Mount All Age School), St. Catherine, Jamaica, passed away peacefully at home June 14, 2022 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Miriam a loving mother died leaving children: Winston, Enid, Blossom, Alexander, Gloria, Dorcas, Irma, Robertha, 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by her husband: Lorenzo A. Walters and children: Berren, Ralston and Joan. Miriam will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. The family appreciates all prayers and words of comfort.

Miriam’s homegoing and thanksgiving service will take place at Bois Content, St. Catherine, Jamaica.
