Obituary of Emeline Jones

Emeline (Millie or Baby Lou) Jones was born in St James, Jamaica to Mother, Alice Lawrence and Father, Joseph Jones. She is the oldest sibling of Pearline, Hermine . She passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 in Brampton. She was a loved, cherished and adored mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister. She will be laid to rest near her beloved sister Hermine Stewart who left us unexpectedly in the year 1976.

Emeline Jones was compassionate and kind hearted to others throughout her life. She was loved by others and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her sons: Leroy Samuels and Calvin Thomas, daughter: Ann Marie Dauphin. Sister Pearline, Cousin: Danovan Chapman, a host of grandchildren such as Christine Henry, Anthony Henry, Victor King, Keniel Thomas, Calvin Thomas, Dwayne Thomas, Thrisha Thomas, Jaden Thomas, Melissa Samuels and Radjief Samuels as well as several great grandchildren.

Emeline Jones attended Rohampton elementary school, followed by Springfield All Age School. After graduation she worked in sales for several years.

She emigrated to Toronto in 1969 where she continued her profession in sales. She later relocated to Brampton in the 1980's and became a loyal and dedicated worker of the Canadian Tire Company where she remained for over thirty plus years until retirement.

Emeline Jones was a Foodee (loved gourmet dishes) Fashionista, an avid swimmer who also loved cooking and gardening.

Emeline's Jones encourages awareness of self. If someone does you a million wrongs and one right. Remember the one right and please forgive, because you don't know what the person is enduring and needs you.  Forgive and assist as best as you can no matter what. We are all God's children.

I Honor you my dear mother. I cherish your love always. I will miss you. I know the lord said it is time and I was not ready to let you go.  But I know in my heart you are at peace and in the arms of our lord.
