Shirlene Davis

Obituary of Shirlene Tamara Davis

A BEAUTIFUL SOUL SET FREE

It is with great sadness that we announce the transition of a beautiful being that touched the hearts and lives of all she came in contact with.

Shirlene Tamara Natalie Davis -Mocha Unruly to friends and Bim Bim to family, took her place amongst angels on the morning of Monday, April 10 at 2:30 am  in the prime  of her life at age 44.

Born on July 24,1978 Shirlene was a blessing neatly wrapped in a beautiful package. Shirlene was brilliant , bold, curious and adventurous from day one .She was one who taught school to her peers under the sun in Jamaica.

Life was not kind to her, but she took it in stride, always optimistic ,independent ,never complaining, resolute to the end.

Her first great loss was that of her dad Owen at age 9. She was his only child the apple of his eyes. At age 16 fate dealt her a 2nd blow her mom was taken from her. That same year Shirlene migrated to Canada –life was not the same but she tried to be the best she could, enrolled at West Humber Collegiate where she did very well.

In 1998 Sherline was blessed with a golden boy whom she named Makaal. Fate was not done with her , because shortly after Makaal’s birth-she lost his dad and was thrust into the role of being a single parent. A role she played with strength and vigor as she pour all she had into her only son.

Fifteen years ago she met her soul mate for life Gavin a gentleman who stayed by her side until the end.

She was kind and creative, A fashionista who loved hair and heels, she knew how to dress. She loved her family beyond measure. A fighter and protector with a heart of gold,. Shirlene is survived by her son Makaal, Significant Other Gavin, Her sister Sharnette and brother Matthew, Friends galore, aunts, uncles, nieces ,nephews and cousins in Jamaica and Canada.

~ Forever Young. Forever loved. Thank you for showing us what love is. You stepped

out of our reach but I know you are watching over us
