Beatrice Busingye Rwakaara
Ms. Beatrice B. Rwakaara was born on September 20, 1954, in Nyakagyera, Kigezi, Uganda, to her late parents Mzee Yeremiya Rwakaara and Mrs Edinansi Nyankwirwa Rwakaara. She was the fourth child of five brothers (William Nkolenta, George Nkabampabire, Stanley Twinemanzi, Eldard Tweyongyere, John Turyomurugyendo) and two sisters (Karugarama and Mary Tumwerekurire).
In Uganda, Ms. Rwakaara worked part-time in her elder brother's company. Ms. Rwakaara lived in Kenya from 1977-1988. While in Kenya she studied journalism and went on to work as a journalist for the Christian Science Monitor. Ms. Rwakaara also worked as a journalist in Zambia. She was known for her diligence, dedication, and high work ethic.
In the early 1990s, Beatrice migrated to the United States where she enrolled at the University of Iowa, meanwhile, continuing to work as a journalist.
In the late 1990s, Ms. Beatrice moved to Canada and settled in Mississauga, Toronto where she transitioned to the IT field of network administration and help desk analyst after completing the required coursework.
Ms. Beatrice was family-oriented and dedicated her life to her family and took pride in her nephews and nieces and their accomplishments. She was very cheerful, gentle in spirit, firm, generous, kind, and strong. Hard work and determination characterized this strong and loving aunt and friend.
Ms. Beatrice Rwakaara is survived by her elder brother, George William Nkabampabire Rwakaara, and younger sister Mary Tumwerekurire. The family truly appreciates all of your prayers during this difficult time.
