Obituary of Janice Caroline Parker

Janice Caroline Parker (1973 - 2023)

Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunty and Friend, Janice Caroline Parker entered fully into the presence of the Lord on July 30, 2023. She was 50 years old. Born on May 17, 1973, in Toronto and raised in Barrie, Ontario, Janice was a beacon of love, beauty, brilliance, and kindness.  Janice was known for her caring heart and fun-loving spirit, she effortlessly touched the lives of everyone she met.

A proud alumna of the University of Western Ontario, Janice dedicated a significant part of her career as a Human Resource Recruiter before transitioning into her role as a Realtor, where her innate people skills truly shone.

Above all, Janice was an affectionate wife and a doting mother, who cherished every moment with her family.  She was the bedrock on which her family stood, her strength and love evident in every interaction. She was also the type of person who is always willing to extend herself in a selfless way to assist other family members and friends.

Janice is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Parker, and their 4 children: Chantelle, Jayden, Nathan, and Kyanne.  Her legacy also lives on through her sisters, Camille and Tracy; her brother, Junior; and her parents, Abredell and Eric-Roy Spalding.  Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of the many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives who had the privilege of knowing her.

We know the Lord is pleased to have one of His kind and generous angels back in His arms where she belongs.  

Her family requests that those wishing to honor her memory do so through acts of kindness, love, and compassion – a true reflection of Janice's essence.

Revelation 21:4

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
