Obituary of Miriam Adinia Briscoe

Miriam Adinia Briscoe, age 92, of Bramalea, Ontario passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Miriam was born on May 23, 1931 to Ivan and Josephine Orr in Spalding Jamaica.  After Miriam graduated from Knox College in Jamaica with a PSW designation she moved to Canada where she continued her love of nursing.  She spent many years working at Toronto General Hospital and eventually moved into Geriatrics Heath Care until retirement.

Miriam was married to Alvin Briscoe (deceased) and loving mother to Carlton, Orville, Rick and Rodger.  She was also the proud grandmother to Ricardo, Troy, Chelsea, Brodie, Savannah, Malik, Kyle and Calvin as well as a great grandmother.  Miriam also leaves behind sisters Ida and Joyce.

During her retirement years she had a passion for gardening and was very active in her church community.
