Obituary of Antonio Franco Bautista

Antonio Franco Bautista, 86, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada was welcomed in glory in the presence of His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, December 21st, 2018.  Antonio was born in Manila, Philippines on April 10th, 1932, son of Eufemio and Isabel (Franco) Bautista.

Besides his parents, Antonio was predeceased by his siblings, Maria Paz, Milagros, Jesus, Lourdes, and Ramon.

Antonio was the dearest and wonderful husband to Yasu (Yoshinaga Yokogawa); the loving father to Grace Megumi/Mimi (Wilfrido/Willie Gonzales); Ruth Sakurako/Saku (John Vela); and Joshua Shigeru/Shig (Hanako Okawa); and the sweet and doting grandfather to Isabel, Caleb, and Jasmine.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday February 16th, 2019, 2pm at Bramalea Baptist Church, Main Sanctuary 9050 Dixie Road, Brampton, Ontario.  Fellowship and refreshments to follow.

Antonio expressed his desire that his Celebration of Life service be just that – a happy celebration with his family and friends!  With this in mind, he always said he wanted everyone to be in white.  Please join us and feel free to wear white to the service.
