Obituary of Theresa Myrtle St. Louis

Theresa Myrtle St. Louis was born on July 19th 1963 in her beautiful home country of Grenada. Theresa made the courageous decisions to migrate to Canada in 1982 at the young age of 18 to live with her sister Joan in Hamilton. Theresa was a light to all those around, her infectious smile, and laughter brought joy to everyone. She was outspoken in the most kind and pleasant way. Theresa was so full of life always dancing and singing and brightening up everyone’s day. She truly made such a positive impact to all those who were fortunate to be close to her especially her family and friends who love and miss her dearly. Theresa’s hard work and dedication allowed her to excel in her workplace and profession with over 30 years of service in the Judicial System. During her many dedicated years of work she developed strong relationships with her coworkers by whom she was well beloved. Theresa’s plan to come to Canada and start a better life, was realized with all the great things she accomplished in her life and career. Theresa was a beloved sister, who had 4 siblings the late Joan Ajayi, Sonia Craig, Conrad St.Louis and Leborn Clark. One of the great joys of Theresa’s life was being a mother. She dedicated many of her years being the best mom. She left behind her only daughter Lisa St. Louis łof 22 years. Theresa was someone who could make everyone laugh and smile. Her ability to shine her light and radiate her joy was a precious gift she possessed, this is one of the things we loved most about her. It’s not often that we can say we have someone in our life who makes you better. Theresa made us better by knowing her, she left the world and those around her better than she found it. Theresa had a heart of gold, the love and affection she gave was unmatched. The way that she showed up for her friends and family always lending a helping hand and a willing spirit is something that we will miss dearly! Theresa, we are grateful for the privilege of knowing and loving you and you will remain in our hearts forever! We encourage all of our family and friends to always look back at the beautiful memories and moments we have with her. Let us always remember her joyful and energetic spirit. We would like to conclude with sharing a few verses from one of Theresa’s favourite psalms that provides us great comfort in this time of grief. “ The Lord will also be a refuge and stronghold for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble; And those who know Your name (who have experienced Your precious mercy) will put their confident trust in You. For You, O Lord have not abandoned those who seek You.” Psalm 9:9-10 AMP
