Obituary of Carol E. Rose

Carol Rose was given the gift of life then exchanged it for eternal life on Sunday October 11, 2020 at the age of 79 years.  With the love of family & friends surrounding her at home, Carol was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We can just hear her melodic laughter up in Glory Land and her singing with the angel throng.

Carol was born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to Canada in the 1970s.  She spent most of her working life in retail and the hospitality industry. Since moving to Malton over 30 years ago, Carol made Malton Baptist Church her place of worship and served faithfully in many capacities. She was also an active member of the Malton Community Seniors Group. She was an excellent cook, with her macaroni pie and banana bread being a favourite among many. She loved life; even enjoying a trip to Hawaii while dealing with her treatment.

Carol was predeceased by her dear parents Etta and Walter Brown

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her brother Wayne Watt, sister-in-law Viona, nephews Andre & Sean, nieces Tricia & Britney and uncle Eustace Brown.  She will also be dearly missed by her mother-figure Elma Balfour, extended family Fredlyn Brown, Sherine Clarke, Carol Wright (& daughter Carli), Grace Black, Maxine Miller (& daughter Justine) and William Carter. Also, best friends Pauline Downie & Princess Brown, God-daughter Nyree Clarke, as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.
